I have had a passion for fitness and sports my entire life. As a young kid I spent most of my time playing baseball. I was a pitcher for my high school baseball team with plans to play in college until an injury ended my career. From there my attention turned to golf, recreation softball leagues, and daily gym time with a focus on weight lifting. Exercise is my therapy - for the last 20 years I've consistently hit the gym 5-6 days a week. But as I got older I realized I needed a better balance of weight and endurance training. A few years after joining the MAC I was introduced to Crossfit and instantly found my new passion. I love the broad range of the workouts, the sense of community and encouragement among our members, and the competiveness that the athletes use to push themselves to new limits.
I am an IT professional by day, but I've always had a desire to have a career involving health and fitness. Getting my CF-L1 was a perfect fit to follow that aspiration. I enjoy teaching others from coaching my 4 year old son's t-ball team to helping Crossfit athletes reach their personal fitness goals and improve their overall lifestyle. It's awesome to watch our members grow and push themselves to the next level. As a coach it is extremely rewarding to be able to assist in the transformation that takes place with our beginners and to help the experienced members continue to achieve new successes and celebrate their accomplishments.
